LOPCC - looking forward to 2010
The club has 2 Saturday XI's in the Meller Braggins Leagues, and 2 friendly sides -a midweek and a Sunday XI. In 2010, under 11's, 13's, 15's and 18's sides will play friendly fixtures in the North Cheshire Junior Cricket Association. Coaching will be provided for under 9s. Also our active girls section will play fixtures with local clubs.
Indoor nets will commence on Tuesday Jan 5th 2010 at Lymm Leisure Centre from 7pm to 9pm for juniors and 9-10pm for seniors. This year, we will have access to a bowling machine, 2 additional net lanes and a new Analysis Suite. Starting late April through to end July, there are outdoor practice sessions for seniors on Thursday evenings & junior boys on Mondays, girls on Thursdays . See separate news item for details nearer the time. Anyone interested in playing cricket, member or not, is welcome to come and have a bat & bowl at any of these sessions.
If you just want to enjoy cricket in pleasant surroundings, you are very welcome to watch and join us for a cup of tea on Saturdays, Wednesday evenings and some Sundays(see fixture list).
